Systam had just implemented a drastic facelift throughout some of its services. Next in line was possibly their most important service with its many features. Systam wanted to design and refine a simple visitor management software to accompany its other services. With dashboard, it is possible to supervise incoming traffic, create visits, manage hosts, and much more.

Dashboard for Systam

Challenge

Systam has been operating in the market for almost two decades and, at this point, wanted to explore different options for a modernized interface for their essential service.

The task was to research and design a modern visitor management dashboard. As a product, it had to be easy to use and effortlessly teachable to new users.

My role

As the design team in its totality, I worked closely with the development team, the company’s managers, and end-users. I researched similar services and designs to collect key features and took responsibility entire design process. My goal was to create a refreshing visual appearance sided with functionality.

Where I got to

The ultimate goal was to create an all-in-one toolkit for the hosts and the receptionist. Software with this many functions could become overwhelming, so the emphasis was naturally on the most used features mapped via interviews and testing.

With the new visually pleasing and functional web app design, Systam will be able to meet its new standards of modernized visitor management as a comprehensive service.

This project is still in progress.
